Welcome to the South Gate Community Association!


The South Gate Community Association was founded in 1956, and holds meetings and community events at the historic social hall located at 3145 South Gate Circle. This 5 acre property overlooks Phillippi Creek. It was conceived by Sarasota School architect Victor A. Lundy. The hall seen in the slideshow comfortably holds 140 guests and features eight-foot banquet tables, a spacious kitchen, and a generous dance floor. Anyone is welcome to rent the hall, but SGCA members are given a considerable discount.

To inquire about hall rentals or to make an appointment, call 941-955-4597. You’re also welcome to stop in the office anytime Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
